These terms apply when you use the Payana Technologies website, submit a form, or place a pre-book. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. About us

Payana Technologies, VRA-31, South Chittoor, Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala 682027, India.

2. Using this site

• Use the site lawfully and do not try to break, probe or overload it.
• Do not submit someone else's personal details without their permission.
• Product descriptions, specifications and timelines describe work in progress and may change before launch.

3. Pre-bookings

A pre-book is an expression of interest and a place in the queue. It is not a sale, it does not create a binding contract, and no payment is taken on this site. We will contact you with pricing, final specifications and delivery details before anything is confirmed. You may cancel a pre-book at any time by emailing us.

4. Data protection (DPDP Act, 2023)

We commit to the following in respect of your personal data:

1. Consent first. We collect personal data only for the specific purposes described in our Privacy Notice, and only after you give free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent through a clear affirmative action. Optional purposes are always separate from required ones.
2. Purpose limitation. We use your data only for the purpose you consented to, and we do not reuse it for a new purpose without asking again.
3. Data minimisation. We ask only for what is needed for that purpose.
4. Accuracy. We correct or complete your data when you tell us it is wrong.
5. Storage limitation. We erase data once the purpose is served or your consent is withdrawn, unless the law requires us to keep it, in line with the retention periods published in the Privacy Notice.
6. Security. We take reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to prevent a personal data breach, and we keep an internal record of the gaps we are still closing.
7. Processors. Where a service provider handles your data on our behalf (for example, our email and hosting providers) they may do so only under our instructions and for these purposes.
8. Breach notification. In the event of a personal data breach we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and every affected person without delay.
9. Your rights. You may request access, correction, completion, erasure, withdrawal of consent, or nominate someone to act for you, using our data rights request form. We respond within 30 days.
10. Grievances. Contact our Grievance Officer at payanatechnologies@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

5. Intellectual property

The Payana name, logo, site design, text and images belong to Payana Technologies. Please do not reuse them commercially without written permission.

6. Assistive device disclaimer

Our devices are aids, not replacements for care, judgement or medical advice. They can miss hazards. Always use them alongside your usual mobility training and precautions.

7. Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Ernakulam, Kerala having jurisdiction.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
